The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Management (ODPEM) has received confirmed reports that there was a Chlorine spill at the Kingston Wharf, Berth 1. The Jamaica Fire Brigade (JFB) and the National Water Commission (NWC) were on the scene responding to the situation and corrective measures are under way.

The ODPEM will continue to monitor the situation and provide further updates accordingly.
