The Meteorological Service of Jamaica has advised that there is currently a frontal system located West of Jamaica.

The Office of Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management (ODPEM) uses this medium to formally thank individuals and organizations for their contributions towards the “Help Haiti Initiative” in the aftermath of devastation brought about by Hurricane Matthew on the Caribbean State.

The Meteorological Service of Jamaica has issued a Flash Flood Watch for low-lying and flood-prone areas of St. Catherine, Clarendon, Kingston and St. Andrew, St. Thomas, Portland, St. Mary and St. Ann. The advisory is effective until 5.00pm on Thursday October 27, 2016.
